SUMMARY:

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

January 1999 to June 2000:

System Integration Test Engineer, in the U-2 System Integration Laboratory (SIL), for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company LMAC (formerly Lockheed Martin Skunk Works). The purpose of the SIL is system integration testing of new or upgraded sensor and avionics systems and subsystems. My responsibilities included setup and operation of test equipment used for checking Mil-Std-1553 buses, fiber optic interfaces, power consumption & power factor, temperature, RF transmission and others.  In addition I developed test plans and procedures and produced test reports. 

October 1996 to December 1998

Avionics Software Test Engineer Sr. for LMAC in the area of test and integration of the F-117 OFP.  I am involved throughout the software development process.  I develop Software Test Plans, Software Test Descriptions and other associated documentation per DoD-Std-2167.  I also test and troubleshoot OFP and simulation software in the F-117 avionics hot mock-up, using a variety of test equipment and software tools.  In addition, I utilize the Interface Design Document in conjunction with bus analyzers to troubleshoot Mil-Std-1553 anomalies.

September 1995 to October 1996:

Staff Engineer for CTA Inc., NAWC China Lake.  Developed test procedures for the Verification & Validation of AV-8B Mission Computer (OFP) software.  Utilized Microsoft Excel & Visual Basic to create special software tools used to validate OFP software performance.  Utilized Flowcharts  and Software Requirements documentation in the analysis of software anomalies discovered during laboratory testing.  I participated in Problem Analysis and Error Correction by isolating the location of errors in the code.  I Generated Software Anomaly Reports (SAR) to document anomalies discovered during test & integration.  Whenever possible, I included the appropriate corrective action thereby streamlining the process of software maintenance.

October 1989 to May 1995:

Flight Test Engineer for Northrop Grumman on the B-2 and TSSAM flight test programs.  My responsibilities included planning and coordinating avionics flight test activities with representatives of the U.S. Air Force, U. S. Navy, associate contractors and various Northrop Grumman organizations.  In my first year with Northrop Grumman I served as an avionics and instrumentation technician on the B-2 flight test program.  As a technician, I assisted engineering by creating and modifying engineering drawings, via CADAM software.

September 1984 to October 1989:

Avionics Test Technician and Test Conductor, for The Boeing Company,  in the B-1B production flight test program and various weapons test programs, on B-52 aircraft.  Responsibilities included flight testing and troubleshooting the B-1B and B-52 Offensive Avionics systems, including diagnosing hardware, software and Mil- Std-1553 anomalies.

October 1980 to August 1984:

Served in the U.S. Air Force as an Avionics Inertial & Radar Navigation Systems Specialist in the 9th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing, Beale A.F.B. CA.  Responsibilities included: preflight checkout, troubleshooting, repair and software configuration of SR-71, U-2/TR-1, & KC-135 Inertial and Doppler Radar navigation systems.  I also performed aircrew debriefing and postflight analysis of flight data.



EXPERIENCE:

In 1995, as a consultant, I developed an application for a Doctor's business, using Visual Basic, for which I was compensated $500.00.  The application was developed per the customer's requirements and my suggestions.

Have experience in the following programming languages: C, C++, Assembly, Visual Basic, FORTRAN,  FoxPro, Pascal.

Avionics systems experience on F-117, B-1, B-2, B-52, SR-71, U-2/TR-1, AV-8B, KC-135 aircraft and the Tri- Service Standoff Attack Missile (TSSAM).  Experienced in troubleshooting hardware, software, Mil-Std-1553 and Mil-Std-1760 related anomalies.

Extensive use of CADAM (computer aided design and modeling) for generating engineering drawings.
