The photos on this page were taken from in front of my home. Some of the night photos were taken with prolonged exposure and a tripod was used.

Since the daylight photos were taken this afternoon, my street has filled up with smoke. I assume this is due to a shift in wind direction. The Santa Ana winds which fueled this and the other Southern California fires this week are expected to die down this evening.

I've never lived this close to a brush fire, or even a brush fire prone area. According to the news these four fires are worst in over a decade.
